These Labs are open to all filmmakers, regardless of background, level of education/training or previous accomplishment. Ford Studios® Lab Students (“Students”) receive year-round support, including access to our network and more.

Screenwriting Lab is a one-on-one workshop designed to provide individualized story and professional development for emerging screenwriters with a documentary feature screenplay or series pilot teleplay.

Producing Lab is a one-on-one intensive workshop designed to help creative producers develop their skills.
TELEVISION SERIES LAB
TV Series Lab is a one-on-one workshop where Fellows gain the tools needed to revise and refine their pilots and navigate a changing broadcasting and streaming industry landscape.
DISTRIBUTION LAB
Distribution Lab is a one-on-one workshop for directors and producers prepping independent feature films for global sales and distribution.
